I've seen a lot of you guys this year.

This year I became an art student. It was a natural thing. A good chunk of my friends here are art students. I found where I needed to be and it wasn't in a math classroom.

We do a lot of artwork around here.

I've learned a lot about photography from my friends this year too. I've learned I'm also a pretty good model. I can sit still if I try!

Not pictured is a lot of shoots including ones where I'm in drag and another where I'm a heroin addict.

Past and Future roommates. good guys.

I've had my fair share of good times.

But it's not all fun. Bad times abound.

I don't have a lot of photos of bad times. That's a good thing anyway.

Most of the time though, we just don't know what to do with ourselves. That's college.

But hey, that's life. Oh well.

I'll see you all soon. Muchlove.

Only 3 or 4 days before I'm back at home...

I've got a ton of downtime now that I finished my finals. I'm really pissed about how poorly I think I did, but I can't really change that now. So after 12 weeks of college, I have this to say: it's fun, a load of work, and fucking expensive. I love the freedom though... I found that I'm actually a ridiculously clean person, who knew. My room at home usually got trashed, but my car was usually spotless, and I guess that carried over to my room here. I guess that's pretty cool.

So other than that nothing really has happened here. I'm uh.. between girls right now, I guess. Hopefully I'll end that soon. Everybody knows what I'm talking about, eh? Ok then, I better see everybody in the next 2 weeks.

oh man i almost forgot... ma favorite 5 things that are nice or whatever.

5. When you first notice you can see your breath when you're going to class in the morning.
4. The smell right before a thunderstorm. You can smell the rain and the electricity.
3. Meaningful conversations about nothing that stretch on and on into the early morning.
2. This smiley face: D: cause damn it's the funniest expression ever. It's just a silly "Ohhh nooo!!"
1. Girls. of course. (especially those that are also mentally stimulating.)

I don't know who should do this now... whoever wants to i guess! D: (hah)

omg im back

I just wanted to say hello to everybody, how ya'll doing?
ps thanks for the card lauren, i owe you one...

Ok I know I'm going to get like a ton of "I told you so's" but I'm considering switching into a more art-based major, like industrial design or perhaps even something in fine arts. I'm not feeling the engineering thing.

Anyway, here's some proof as to why I need to be an art major... I've been using so much spraypaint lately.
It's all stencil work.

Now don't mind any overspray or underspray because all those are just tests. The bomb shirt is more like what I can do.

Anybody want a shirt, or a bag or even just a wall-piece done for them? It'd be cheep anyway. Like $10 a shirt or something, just to cover costs of paint and the shirt itself.

whew

If you don't want to bother reading, the basic jist of this post is:
Motorcycles are fucking cool and I can't wait until I can afford to buy my own.

The motorcycle course was fun. It was a bit like a more involved Driver's Ed, since it is a school. Friday was a classroom deal where we read and answered questions in a book, so it was boring. I didn't really learn much that I hadn't already read online. However, it got me all excited about actually getting on the bikes the next day.

Did I mention I drove an hour and a half upstate to Ulster County for this? Do you all remember the rain on friday? It was pretty bad, and I drove through it on the Taconic, the 2 lane part up north. It was... interesting not being able to see or stop that well while travelling at 65 miles an hour. I made it up there pretty early, since I anticipated traffic because of the rain, but didn't hit too much. Slept for an hour until Rich showed up and we went back to his house, and from there to the course.

It wasn't until I was in New Paltz that I realized I had forgotten my motorcycle permit at home. That sucked. My mom faxed it to Rich's house, so everything did turn out ok, but goddamn I was like "fuck, fuck, fuck" for about 4 hours.

This is what my bike looked like:

Only it didn't have mirrors or that backrest. These machines were built to be ragged on, I must have stalled that bike like a dozen times. But goddamn, I was having a lot of fun doing it. I don't think I went faster than like 30mph but imagine doing that completely exposed to the open air and you'll understand how cool it felt.

I got a nice tan too:

That's from the motorcycle gloves. Since we're not going more than like 20mph on average, we didn't need to have a jacket, just a longsleeve shirt and I rolled mine up since it was really hot.

Sunday we did a few more exercises and then we had the test, which I passed, with like 12 off, and Rich passed with 13 off, so I beat him on the riding skills part. We had a written test that he beat me by 1 question though, so we're even. Soon I'll get my driving test waiver, so I'll have my license, I'll get an insurance reduction(both car and bike) and I'll get the four points on my license taken off. woo!

I should have brought a camera, the area around Rich's mom's house is really nice. Not to mention driving on those roads was fun, all curves.

Something completely unexpected...

I am very happy today. Why?

Yesterday I took my motorcycle permit test. I now have a motorcycle permit.

Step one complete.

Went to a shop. Bought a few items.

Step Two complete.

I then signed up for a school. Three days of instruction on how to properly kill myself on a motorcycle. If I take this course, I can get a deal on insurance and I won't have to take the driving test because I'll already have my license!

Step three to WIN!

I'm leaving Friday for Rich's up by New Paltz, since I'm taking the course with him. The course is at Ulster County Community College, so I'll stay at his house for the weekend. I can't wait, this will be the greatest weekend in a looong time.

Wish me luck!

What time is it?

I don't think I'm going to sleep tonight. Why? Don't ask me.

I've cleaned the bathroom, the kitchen, loaded and unloaded the dishwasher, cleaned the dining room table off, took out the trash...

it's only 3 am. What am I going to spend the rest of the day on? I have until probably 1 am or so to fill and people aren't up at this time. So, I'll clean my room.

Today I took off my bumper. just to see what was behind it, and not surprisingly, it was the radiator. I really have to stop randomly disassembling parts of my car, before I do something I can't reverse. I painted my license plate frames though, a nice dark red to match my taillights, it looks nice.

I haven't done any real meditation lately, and it's starting to show. The other day Nicole found a knot in my shoulders, which is abnormal for me, usually I'm loose as hell. All these people hatin' are taking a toll too. Oh well it'll blow over.

I'm meeting some parental resistance to my motorcycle plan. Since I'm not currently employed it means I'm not responsible enough to drive a motorcycle. I suppose that doesn't apply to every friday where I have to drive my brother to Peekskill, or do whatever goddamn chore comes to mind. I'm plenty responsible to do that! Maybe I'm missing something, they don't say a motorcycle is too dangerous. I think they're using it as a crutch to get me to do something for them, but I don't know what that'll be yet, but I bet it'll be expensive.

I also think they're trying to leech from me. My mother told me I should give my graduation money to her because they've spent so much money on me lately. I asked what she was referring to, and she said "you know, those tires, the arizona trip and some other things." I was really confused by this, and asked what that meant, since I had paid out of pocket for my new tires, and Progenics Co. footed the entire Arizona bill. She replied that I hadn't paid my father back for the tires, and that she meant because she travelled to Arizona to see me there. Now, I don't see how my father is involved if I paid the tire dude myself, and I certainly didn't expect to have to pay for my mother to fly to Arizona and stay 2 or 3 nights there. I guess my mother racked up a nice bill at Macy's this month.

It's too bad about the motorcycle thing. I'll do some talking and see if I can convince her to sign the waiver to let me do the safety course. If I had been born three months earlier this wouldn't even be a problem. I can't wait to be 18 and not have to deal with being a minor. I don't see any reason that being 17 is better than being 18... you still get prosecuted the same but you don't have any rights. Cool!

Well, back to cleaning I guess.

It's 1 a.m. and I have a physics regents tomorrow. What time is that at?

shit.

Well, I'll figure that out in the morning, and I need a protractor. Why does my teacher think I have a protractor handy? It doesn't make sense.

Just a while ago I was hungry, so I searched for food. Usually this involves me opening a cabinet, staring, sighing, and moving to the next one. I opened this one cabinet and I discovered something. This cabinet is where the dead come to rest for eternity. I believe that some of these food products are possessed. Why else would a box of instant pudding, likely older that I, whisper to me? It says, "Eat me! I only ask you sacrifice two cups of milk and five minutes of whisking and I shall bestow you a delicious pudding treat." I decide that the pudding is not benevolant, as if there is a ghastly surprise hiding in that vanilla-white powder. I ask myself why I would think a box of pudding would have such a heinousness in it's actions, which at this point including 'sit there' and not much else. I could not answer. Turning to the pudding, since I had distracted myself enough to stare out the window, I screamed, "NAY FOUL BEAST! Your cancer is a perversion of pudding delightfulness! I shall have none of your devilry!" With one quick swipe of a nearby kitchen blade, I slay the fiend, pouring his guts out, powder coating the marble counter before blowing away in the wind to the desert beyond.

A small blue and orange box catches my eye, behind where the demon-pudding was entrenched. As I reach for my treasure, I feel the air in the cabinet grow colder, my hand passing the place the pudding once guarded. I retrieve the box without consequence, however, I was fatigued from the earlier battle, so I reconsidered eating. I realized that I did not even know what I was holding. A box of Kraft Mac & Cheese. Indeed, you are the cheesiest, cheesasaurus, a fitting prize for the defeat of the foul demon-pudding. A look at the recipe reveals that to make this foodstuff, I must cook.

Cook. As in, turn on a stove and boil water. Wait. Inconceivable in a modern world such as this. I must get creative, I thought to myself. I must... improvise. Grabbing the largest bowl I could find, I quickly add 2 cups of water and pour the tasty, uncooked pasta-dish into the vessel. I shove it into my best friend, the microwave, set it for 5 minutes on high, and hope for the best.

Pasta Perfection. I add the fake cheese and I sit on my sofa, eating the greatest gift from god to man. Mac & Cheese.

UPDATE: I think the pudding was, believe it or not, a normal box of pudding. It seems that the culprit the entire time was in fact, the box of Mac & Cheese I have just consumed. It was a clever trick, and one only a mastermind possessed-box-of-food could conjure up. I have been defeated in kitchen combat. I feel sick.

prom was fun. love to do it again (haha) have pictures will share later.

I saw Better Than Ezra play at Irving on Tuesday. They were good. Tobia got a bass pick. I am quite jealous. Adam Richman(mond?) opened for them, he wasn't that great but the last song he played was fun. American Hi-Fi played too. I didn't not like them.

Saw Holly with her sister there, and Mike Johnson who came with Anjuli. Crazy to think about since there were 12 yorktown kids in our group. 16 of us. waoh.

Going to clearwater on saturday. Should be fun, camping out saturday.

in other news I am listening to the new gorillaz album and I like it.

cartoon bands are hip yo. it's like listening to a more produced version of blur since it's the same dude anyway.

night

I am back from Pheonix!

After a full week of fun, I finally had to come back to yorktown, where it's cold and boring, but at least there is a little bit of green and there's moisture in the air.

Chris and I placed 4th in Team Projects at ISEF, the International Science and Engineering Fair. There were 1447 registered people there, so that's something. (though, 4th meant there were a bunch of us that had the same score.) The competition was held over one day, and we had to present our work something like 15 times throughout the day. It honestly was a lot of fun though, and I met a lot of people from all over the world, like germany, argentina, brasil, japan, south africa and china. They were all really cool in different ways.

Besides the fair, there were a bunch of things that we did that was really cool. We took an offroad jeep tour of Sedona, which was fantastic. The tour guide was hilarious, the jeep was really cool, and the red rock formations were just stylin'. We went to a rodeo thing, which was kind of boring, since we New Yorkers didn't get the jokes. Most of our off-time was spent at the hotel pool/hot tub and my room, since it was the biggest. Had a few sleepovers, which was great since it's been a while, though I lost part of my earring in bed fooling around, which upset me greatly. We went to dinner at a few nice places, and I ate cactus. The other people who eat real food ate rattlesnake meatballs and buffalo. They said both were good. Let me tell you, it is hard to go to a grill and order something without meat. I don't mean it tests my willpower against meat, I mean it's hard to find something that isn't grilled cheese or a caesar salad and that is tasty. Steamed vegetables just don't wet my palate.

My quest for a cowboy outfit is incomplete. I bought a hat, but alas, no boots or spurs. Another time.

Pictures to come eventually.

I love mac and cheese

Oh my.... It's not often I do this (I'm lying I do this all the time), but I'm going to give you all a look into my hard drive! I'm including pictures that I feel are special. Some are depressing, some are happy, and some are gonna make you go 'wtf how is that special, you tard?' But they are all special, in that loveable tard way! BEHOLD!

Before we begin, I want you all to just stare at each picture for a second. There are none of those stupid jump-out-and-scare you ones, I'm being serious and I want you to honestly look at each picture to see WHY each one is so great.

We'll start off with a happy shot of the pacific coast of South America. The photographer was either really lucky or absolutely genius to get this shot. I have this in 1600x1200 resolution, perfect for your desktop background.

I believe I have discovered the funniest image on the internet.

This painting makes me so sad. I hope I'm not the only one who personifies inanimate objects, because there's so much emotion in that blank robot stare.

Creepy. That's why I like it. Creepy.

I love anry's artwork. The portfolio on the website only shows figures standing, but this artist is really fantastic.
www.anry.ru

This is so sad. Depresses the hell out of me everytime I see it.

Look at his face.

You should be ashamed of yourself if you don't recognize this image.

:,(

SURREAL SHIT TIME!!

woah.

I most definately have more awesome pictures but I guess that's all I'll show you for now. Every one of these better provoke some emotion from you guys or I'll be mad!!(and that means you're heartless but I'll put that in parethesis so you feel like it's an afterthought you cold bastard.)

Hey boys and girls! I'm selling my car!

joy!

Oh yeah!! It's a 1996 Subaru Legacy Outback. It's got a bit under 113,000 miles on the clock, and features no less than:

2.5l 4-cylinder Boxer Engine
Auto Transmission
HEATED FRONT SEATS FOR YOUR WINTER BOOTY
Heated Side Mirrors
Power Locks, Mirrors, Windows, Steering and Brakes
Alloy Wheels
and of course, it wouldn't be a subaru without All-Wheel-Drive!

All for the low, low price of only $4999.99!!

Now, there are minor problems with the car. It's originally from Syracuse, so there's a bit of rust on the rear hatch, but it's not anything that hinders the operation of the car. The left front tire also needs a bit of air in it every 3 weeks or so, but that's something you see on a ton of cars. Mechanically, the car is fine. I'm selling because I want to buy a classic car and I need the money somewhat soon.

I went to RIT today, for an open house. It was enjoyable, and I think I'll have fun when I start school there in august. On the way home I took pictures because I was bored. Enjoy the roadside in 640x400 resolution.

ok goodnight

That's the supervisor of amnesty and my social studies teacher, mr. steve rome. I didn't get a picture of the poster, and by the time I remembered stephanie had already taken it home...

the posters totally topped the ones I did last year. one day I'll remember to copy them and bring them home to show you all.
